About Me

Hi! My name is Ryan, and welcome to my blog! Here you will find out a little bit about myself, and my interests. This site was developed to set individuals in the direction of finding out a little bit more about myself and my interests. Be sure to check out what else I have going on by clicking on the “Social Media” tab. This website is intended to display my educational and professional accomplishments, while at the same time giving the reader a taste of my hobbies and passions. I am a young, entrepreneurial individual that is able to balance work and pleasure in a way that is highly productive, yet also entertaining and pleasurable. Here is a little bit about my educational background.

My hard work and determination in high school allowed to me to enter into one of the finest universities in the country– the University of Colorado, at Boulder. Here, I was given and opportunity to blend an incredible educational experience with an outgoing, vibrant social life. If you have not noticed, I always try to have a nice balance between work and play, a theme that people close to me almost immediately recognize. In 2008, I took an internship with the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center. Here I was able to put the skills I was learning in the classroom to the test. The organization’s objective at this particular time was to set up a plethora of events that leading up to the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado. Some of the events I helped set up include: major concerts (bands include: Rage Against the Machine, the Flobots, State Radio, and more), rallies, marches, political speeches, and other relevant events surrounding the DNC. As the event grew closer, my duties in the organization blossomed from answering phone calls and setting up meetings to scheduling event times and locations with highly regarded government officials and officers. My list of duties and responsibilities seemed endless. I learned that I can absolutely thrive in a fast-paced and highly-stressful environment.

After graduating from the college with a B.S. in Political Science and Economics and working for a few months, I decided to invested much of my savings into an absolute trip of a lifetime. I spent three months in South Africa for the World Cup (2010), and then ventured off to Europe for another three months. Using my incredible networking social skills, I was able to integrate myself into many of Europe’s most exclusive societies– places and events that most travelers would never experience. I immersed myself in the European music scene, helping organize and set up events that include “Voltt Loves Summer” and “Amsterdam Dance Event”. I will surely carry these experiences with me for the rest of my life. This trip also gave me a greater sense of what I would like to do with my life– music and entertainment. This is why I have come back to the US with a more profound interest in music, and that is specifically why I am choosing to enter into this kind of industry. Following this dream, I am currently working at Bryan Farrish Radio Promotion, doing radio syndication, promotion, and sales. So far, this experience has taught me a lot about an industry that is extraordinarily complex. Contacting major venues and artists is a lot more complex than it might sound, although I am taking full advantage of this opportunity. Soon I will be launching a more compulsory website that truly reflects my personality and my passion. This lifestyle based website will have many facets—music, entertainment, fashion, and the usual doings of a mid-twenties individual poised for success.
